* Bear Hunts Over Bait:         6- day hunt      $1,350/ person
We offer full care black bear hunts over bait in scenic North Central Maine.  All property  is owned or leased by Grindstone Bear & Moose Lodge, LLC.  Our hunts are in sturdy  tree stands or in comfortable ground blinds, the choice is yours.  Whether you love hunting archery, rifle, pistol, or muzzleloader, we have the perfect setting for you to enjoy your hunt.

*Moose Hunt (by Lottery Permit ONLY):     6- day hunt      $2,500 (2 persons)
Ask for information about entering the Moose Hunt Lottery.  Make sure to ask for the  helpful hints to increase your chances for the hunt of a lifetime.  If you get lucky on the  lottery, then give us a call.  We make your hunt very personalized and one of the best  experiences of your life with a guide that is very familiar with Zones 10 and 11.  We  prefer these zones for the ease of staying at our lodge, which includes meals, lodging, and  a guide.

*White-tailed Deer Hunt:
Have you heard of the large white-tailed deer in Maine?  We have a prefect area to  try your skills to bag one of these elusive monsters.  Bring your stand and give it a  try.  You will be provided with a guide, lodging, and three hearty meals a day or you can  make it a do-it-yourself hunt while staying at our camp.

Season availability is November 5th – 10th, and November 12th-17th (Big Game License  Required)

*Coyote Hunt:
Would you like to try a hunt that gets over-looked, and do our area a lot of good  to preserve the moose, deer, bear, and small game population?  Then give it a try, and see  how many you can eliminate to help protect our so desired animal populations.  A guide,  lodging, and meals will be provided.

*Small Game Hunt:
Partridge (Ruffed Grouse) hunting is like no other.  Come enjoy a hunt and the  scenery of the North Maine Woods.  A guide, meals, and lodging will be provided unless  you would like to make it a do-it-yourself hunt while staying at our camp.

Season availability is October 1st – 6th other dates may be available upon request (Small Game License required)

*Fishing Expedition:
Do you and your family or friends enjoy a do-it-yourself fishing vacation, and  love catching small mouth bass, brook trout, or land-locked salmon?  Then bring your boat and rent our lodging area for the week, and we will give you all the wonderful  destinations to fish on the East Branch of the Penobscot River (only pristine river in the  area), and local lakes and streams.

*ATV Expedition:
If trail riding is your pleasure, then bring your ATV’s and come ride on the many miles  of trails in the Penobscot & Aroostook County region.  Make our lodging area your base  camp and come have a wonderful experience in the Maine woods, it can be a do-it- yourself or guided trip.

*Hiking:
Come enjoy the trails in Baxter State Park including the northern end of the Appalachian  Trail.  Use our lodging facilities for your base camp for day hikes.

*Lodge Rental for a Family Vacation:
